Marbled Plant Pot making Workshop with Debbie from Indoor Living

Create a beautiful plant pot to brighten up your home (free plant included)
Unleash your creativity and discover the art of marbling to create a beautiful plant pot at this Marbling Class.
During this hands-on class, you'll learn how to mix and cast the eco-friendly material called Jesmonite into a silicone mould, allowing you to create your very own unique plant pot. Don't worry if you're new to this craft, Debbie will guide you every step of the process and offer on-hand help whenever you need it.
Using a range of pigments, you'll get to create your own bespoke colours and learn marbling techniques to create unique patterns for your plant pot.
Once your plant is cast, you'll learn the techniques of sanding and polishing to reveal the intricate marbled design that you've created.
Finally, you will seal your plant pot so it’s ready to take home.
The class will run in a relaxed and supportive environment, allowing you to explore your artistic side and embark on a transformative experience. You'll leave with not only new skills but a plant pot that you can proudly use and display, adding a touch of unique style to your living space.
The best part? Jesmonite is a water-based resin material, making it safe to use and friendly to the environment.
This workshop includes a beverage and treat, so you can relax and enjoy the creative process with like-minded individuals.
By the end of the class, you’ll have a gorgeous plant pot and plant to call your own and some newfound skills under your belt too!

Terrazzo Plant Pot Making Workshop with Debbie from Indoor Living

Create a beautiful plant pot to brighten up your home (free plant included!)
Unleash your creativity and discover the art of Terrazzo to create a beautiful plant pot at this Terrazzo Plant Pot Making Workshop.
During this hands-on class, you'll learn how to mix and cast the eco-friendly material called Jesmonite into a silicone mould, allowing you to create your very own unique plant pot. This listing is to book a place on our Creative Club Teens group which runs fortnightly on Thursday’s 4:30 - 6pm. Please note, if you are you booking your young person onto this workshop and haven’t already completed a sign up form, you will be given one to complete the first time they attend, this must be completed before going forward. About Creative Club Teens
Our workshops aim to meet the needs of the attendees, providing a safe, creative space for people to express themselves, learn new skills & make something to be proud of. Our Creative Club Teens group is modelled on our already existing Creative Club, where people come along weekly to join our creative workshops & enjoy meeting new people, learning new skills & have a bit of creative time to themselves to relax, make and enjoy the benefits of art and creativity.
Creative Club Teens is aimed at young people age 11 – 18 who may want to enhance their already existing creative skills, find a passion for a creative discipline, meet like-minded individuals, join our creative activities to help with mental health and wellbeing, simply be a part of something or may be home schooled and are looking for classes to enhance their home learning.
These workshops will cover lots of different creative disciplines including printing, textiles, ceramics, lino cutting, glass painting, pot painting, collage and more! We would also love to hear ideas from the group about what they may want to learn or have a go at and this will help us plan future sessions.
Refreshments are provided.

Join us to make your own glass painted frame. Using glass paint liners and vibrant glass paint colours you will paint your design onto the glass frame. We can print templates if you wish to use one, or draw your own design to use. The glass paints give a lovely stained glass effect. Perfect to give as a present or put up in your house.

Join us at another Creative Club ‘on tour’ session, weather permitting!
In this session we will meet at the studio and head down to Stockton’s new Urban Waterfront Park. Here we will explore textures all around, pressing them with a putty rubber & printing them into a small sketchbook. This is so much fun to do (check out the trend on Instagram!). We have noticed many exciting textures down at the Urban Waterfront Park including nature, textured metal, wood, paving, signs, carved rock sculptures & more. Prints can be kept safely in your sketchbook to continue printing beyond the session or taken out and made into cards, bookmarks or framed pieces.

Join us to make your own mosaic photo frame. In this session you learn how to cut mosaic tiles into shapes to create a pattern. You can also use our pre cut tiles if you prefer. First we will design your photo frame & then cut/place tiles around to desired design before sticking & grouting. (If it isn’t dry you can take grout away with you to grout at home)

OUR STUDIO
In 2023 Creative Village opened their studio space on Stockton High Street. The studio runs regular weekly workshops including Creative Club (Tuesday evenings), Creative Club Teens (Thursday evenings) and monthly silversmithing, ceramics and paint-a-long workshops.

About The Voucher
This voucher allows you credit to spend on our website (select the amount below). You can spend it on any of our workshops including jewellery & ceramics workshops, one off workshops e.g lino printing or on our weekly Tuesday evening, Creative Club. You can also purchase items from our shop page using the voucher.
Most workshops are held at our studio which is on Stockton High Street, occasionally we venture out into the community to deliver from various venues which can be anywhere around the Teesside area (and very occasionally further).
Once you have purchased the voucher from this listing you will receive the digital voucher via email (the email you enter when you go through our checkout so please make sure you use an email you have access to). The digital voucher will have the voucher amount on as well as a code which is unique to you & will be needed when booking/purchasing from our website, so please keep this safe. Once you have entered your code at the checkout in the ‘discount code’ box, the full voucher amount will be removed from your total.
Vouchers are valid for 6 months.
