Ceramic Platter make-a-long

Join us for a creative evening where you can relax, enjoy a cuppa, meet new friends & take part in our ceramic platter make-a-long.

£30.00pp, includes all materials & refreshments.

In this workshop you will be guided step by step to make your own ceramic platter, perfect for get togethers over the festive period. Lucy will demonstrate step by step how to create the shape of your platter & guide you throughout to cut, smooth, sculpt and shape your perfect platter shape. You can then choose from a rainbow of underglazes to paint your platter in any design you wish. The piece will be fired in our kiln then dipped in transparent glaze so collection will be 2 - 3 weeks after the workshop.

Lots of design possibilities in this workshop including the rim shape on your platter, the funky food sections and the painting of your design.

Refreshments;

Hot & cold drinks & biscuits included. If you want to bring your own refreshments/snacks please do! But please note Creative Village Studio is a NUT FREE zone.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds or swaps onto other workshops so please be sure you can make it before you book. 

Please note if we do not meet our minimum number of bookings on this workshop it may be postponed until a later date. You will be notified by email and given as much notice as we can. This happens very rarely and we do apologise if this causes any inconvenience.

Our studio is a few doors down from charity Vision 25 facing the high street, next door to Thirteen Group & formerly British Heart Foundation.
Our entrance is the black gate a few doors along from Vision 25. One of us will be at the gate greeting attendee’s to make sure you can find us. Please note the gate will close at 6pm & if you are going to be late you can call for one of us to pop down to let you in after 6pm. (Phone number will be on the follow up email you will receive a few days before you join us.

** Please note we occasionally have our studio dog, Pepper, present during workshops. She’s very friendly & usually lays in her bed pushing out the loudest snores. If this causes a problem please send us an email & Lucy can leave her at home that day **
