Creative Club

Creative Club runs every Tuesday 6 - 8pm. Every week we have a planned session exploring many different materials, techniques and processes. If you don’t fancy the planned activity but still want to come along, feel free to bring a project you’re working on & enjoy the company of other creatives & have a cuppa & chat.

Tuesday 28th April

Join us to create a plaster nature print. Using a range of nature pieces including leaves, flowers and foliage, you will print the nature into clay then use either a shape cutter or build clay walls to frame the piece ready for the plaster. Plaster of Paris is a beautiful white plaster which is mixed powder & water before pouring over the nature and leaving to set for up to 15 minutes. Once it is set you will remove the clay edge and be left with a white plaster negative of the nature itself, beautiful to be displayed in the home or given as a gift.

Refreshments are provided.

If you wish to bring along your own snacks, please feel free but please note Creative Village Studio is a NUT FREE zone.

Our studio is above charity Vision 25 facing the high street, next door to Thirteen Group & formerly British Heart Foundation.
Our entrance is the black gate a few doors along from Vision 25. One of us will be at the gate greeting attendee’s to make sure you can find us.

Please note we have our little studio helper present at workshops, Pepper the Frenchie. She’s very calm often found snoring in her bed, but if this causes an issue please email us & Lucy will leave her at home :)
